Robin loved growing up in Evansville, Indiana, but he knew from a young age that he wanted to experience life beyond the borders of his home town. Commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps after graduating from college, Robin spent the next eight years serving in various locations around the world, including right down the freeway at Camp Pendleton.
